평신도 세미나가 이번 주말(10월 7-9일)에 휴스턴 서울교회에서 개최됩니다. 평신도 세미나를 위해 기도하면서 우리 워터루제일교회에서도 많은 분들이 참석할 수 있도록 성도들이 함께 기도해 왔습니다.
기도의 응답으로서 한어권 8명, 영어권 4명, 어린이목장 교사로 1명이 참여합니다.
이번 주에는 그 세미나를 통해 유익함을 얻도록 등록한 교우들을 위해 집중적으로 기도해야 하겠습니다. 이번 주에 집중적으로 기도할 제목은 등록한 자들이 모두 참여할 수 있도록 건강과 환경을 허락해 주시기를 위해, 공항 라이드 차량의 안전과 운전자들의 건강을 위해, 참여자들의 숙박과 비자, 그리고 그 밖에 필요한 것들이 원할하게 준비될 수 있도록, 참여하는 모두가 유익을 얻고 수료할 수 있도록, 그리고 참여하는 분들이 모든 일정을 마치고 무사히 돌아오기까지 집중해서 기도해주시기 바랍니다.
평신도 세미나에 참여하는 분들에게 말씀드리는 것은 하나님께서 여러분들에게 신앙의 유익을 위해 특별한 기회를 주셨음을 감사하십시오. 그리고 교회 공동체가 위해 기도하고 있다는 것을 잊지 말고 유익한
시간이 될 수 있도록 적극적으로 세미나에 참여하시기 바랍니다.
참여하는 분들은 다음 두가지에 염두를 두면 이번 세미나가 여러분들에게 유익할 것입니다. 하나는 강사의 강의와 간증에 집중하시기 바랍니다. 교회가 무엇이며 왜 존재하는지, 그리고 어떻게 세워갈 수 있는지를 배우게 될 것입니다. 다른 하나는 여러분을 섬기는 휴스턴 서울교회 성도들과 기회가 닿는 대로 많은 대화를 가져보시기 바랍니다. 가정교회를 오랜 기간 동안 해 오신 분들이어서 많은 경험과 노하우를 가지고 있기에 여러분들에게 인사이트를 주고 여러분의 궁금한 부분에 답을 주실 것입니다.
마지막으로, 여러분들이 집으로 돌아온 후 한 주간이 지나기 전에 세미나에 참석하여 느끼고 경험한 것을 정리해 두시기 바랍니다. 공동체에서 성도들과 함께 나눌 때 경험한 것들을 오래 기억하게 만들어 줄 뿐만 아니라 참석하지 못한 분들은 간접적인 유익을 얻을 것입니다.
The lay-seminar of House Church is supposed to be held this weekend (October 7-9) at Houston Seoul Church. While praying for the seminar, the members of our church have been praying together so that 13 people can attend as an answer to our prayer.(8 Korean-speaking people, 4 English-speaking people, and 1 children’s Mokjang)
This week, we need to pray intensively for the registers in the seminar to get benefit from the seminar. This week’s intensive prayer topics are for granting health and environment to the registered people so that they can participate, for the safety of airport ride vehicles and for the health of drivers, accommodation, visas, and other needs of the participants. Please pray intensively so that everyone who participates can get benefit and complete the course. Please keep praying until the participants return safely after completing their schedules.
I would like to give some advises to those attending the seminar. Thank God that God has given you a special opportunity for the good of the faith. Also, do not forget that the church community is praying for you, and please actively participate in the seminar so that it can be a useful time.
This seminar will be beneficial to those of you who participate, if you keep the following two things in mind. The one thing is please focus on the instructor’s lectures and testimonies. You will learn what the church is, why it exists, and how to build it. The other thing is that I recommend you have as many conversations as possible with the Houston Seoul Church members who serve you. Since they have been doing house churches for a long time, they have a lot of experience and know-hows, so they will give you insights and answer your questions.
Finally, Before a week has passed since you returned home, I would like for you to summarize what you felt and experienced by attending the seminar. Sharing with church members in the community will not only make the experience memorable, but will also indirectly benefit those who were unable to attend.
